Version 6 · 30 August 2026
Raúl Garrido Rasillo, Maria Antonia Paris 7, 43204 Reus, España, hereinafter “we”. Sticker.fit is an Android app for making stickers and sharing them.
For anything related to this policy, including the requests in section 9: stickerfit.contact@gmail.com.
None of this reaches us:
| What | Where it lives |
|---|---|
| Your photos and the stickers you make with them | On your phone, in the app’s private storage |
| Your packs and their content | Same |
| Your loose sticker library | Same |
| Your preferences: theme, language, whether you’ve seen the intro, whether you want notifications | Same |
| The history of which packs you installed in WhatsApp | Same |
Two details worth knowing, because they aren’t obvious:
Signing in is optional and it exists so you can publish, follow people, like things, have a profile and receive notifications.
Identity. You sign in with your Google account and we create no password. From that process our identity provider stores your email address, the identifier Google assigns to your account and the basic data Google supplies with it, such as your name and your Google profile picture. We never see your Google password, neither we nor our provider.
Profile. A username you choose, a display name, an optional bio and an optional avatar. All of that is public: it appears as the author of whatever you publish and anyone can see it.
Date of birth. Asked once and used for two things: checking you are at least 16 (section 8) and deciding whether the ads served to you can be personalised (section 5). The date is stored, it is not verified against any document, and it is neither public nor ever leaves the server: the app doesn’t receive it back, it only receives the answer to those two questions.
The version of the terms you accepted, so we know whether to ask you again when they change.
What you publish. The sticker and pack icon images, the name, the description, the category, the tags, the emoji associated with each sticker and the accessibility text. Images are stored exactly as you send them: our server does not rescale, re-encode or generate thumbnails.
Community. Who you follow and who follows you, and what you have liked.
Activity. The notifications you generate for other people and those others generate for you: that someone followed you, that someone liked something of yours, and the download milestones of what you published.
Notifications on your phone. If you turn notifications on, we store the address Google’s messaging service assigns to that installation of the app, so we can send you the notice. When you turn the switch off, that address is deleted from our service.
Moderation. If you report something: what you reported, the reason you chose and the explanation you write, if you write one. If you block someone, who you blocked. And if something of yours is reported, the report and whatever is decided about it.
Usage. That a pack or sticker has been downloaded, with the date. If you are signed in, that download stays linked to your account for the current day, which is what lets us avoid counting the same download twice. We don’t profile your interests, we don’t analyse your behaviour and we use no analytics tools.
Service logs. Our provider keeps the technical logs any server keeps —IP address, date, requested path and response code— for a short period and for the sole purpose of running the service and detecting abuse.
The ad appears in exactly one place: when adding a pack to WhatsApp. It appears once for each pack you add, whether you made it yourself or downloaded it from the catalogue, and there are no ads anywhere else in the app. Downloading from the catalogue and saving a loose sticker carry no ad.
Ads are served by Google’s advertising system, which to do so collects device identifiers and its own technical data. That processing is done by Google under its own policies; we neither receive that data nor give them anything of yours. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the first time you will see a consent message where you can choose what you allow, and that choice can be changed later from the app’s settings.
Ads are not personalised unless we know you are 18 or older. That is the rule and not an exception: by default a non-personalised ad is requested, and a personalised one is requested only if you have created an account and the date of birth you declared says you are 18 or over. Since adding a pack to WhatsApp doesn’t require an account, the normal case is the non-personalised ad.
The app doesn’t send your age or your date of birth to the advertising system: the only thing travelling with the ad request is the flag saying it cannot be personalised.
The ad is the condition for adding the pack: if none is available, or if you close it before it finishes, the pack is not added and you can try again. It is what sustains the cost of the app and the catalogue.
What that implies, plainly: adding a pack to WhatsApp needs a connection. Making stickers, editing them, building packs, your loose sticker library and sharing a sticker with any app keep working with no network and no ads. Adding it to WhatsApp does not.
In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, not accepting the consent message means no ad can be shown to you, and therefore neither can packs be added to WhatsApp nor content downloaded from the catalogue. The rest of the app keeps working the same. The other way out is premium, which is what the next part is about.
There is a one-off payment that removes ads from the whole app; the terms are in section 10 of the terms and conditions. What matters here is only what touches your data, and it is little:
Put another way: buying premium creates no data about you in our service. Whatever Google processes on its side to charge you is governed by its own policies.
| For what | What data | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Giving you an account and keeping your session | Identity and profile | Performance of the contract: without this there is no service with an account |
| Publishing and serving the catalogue | Published content and profile | Performance of the contract |
| Following, liking and notifying | Community and activity | Performance of the contract |
| Sending notifications to your phone | Notification address | Your consent, given when you turn the switch on and withdrawn when you turn it off |
| Checking the minimum age | Date of birth | Legal obligation and protection of minors |
| Deciding whether an ad can be personalised | Date of birth | Legal obligation and protection of minors |
| Moderating and handling reports | Reports, blocks, decisions | Legitimate interest in keeping the service clean, and legal obligation where there is one |
| Counting downloads and ordering the catalogue | Usage | Legitimate interest in the catalogue having a meaningful order |
| Advertising | What Google’s system collects | Your consent where it is required |
What is public is seen by anyone, with or without an account: your profile, what you publish, the follower, like and download counters, and the list of who you follow and who follows you.
What is not public is not handed to anyone for their own purposes. It is processed on our behalf, and only to provide the service:
| Who | For what |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Hosting of the database, of file storage and of authentication |
| Signing in with a Google account | |
| Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) | Delivery of notifications to the phone |
| Google’s advertising system | The ads in section 5 |
| Google Play | Charging for premium, if you buy it. The payment doesn’t go through us |
We don’t sell personal data and we don’t do advertising based on what you do inside the app.
Apart from that, we may disclose information when a law or a competent authority requires it.
You must be 16 to create an account. The check is the date of birth you declare, unverified, which is what is proportionate for a service this size.
It is a condition of the account and not of the app: making stickers, editing them and installing them in WhatsApp requires no account, so that half can be used below that age. The only thing there that does process data is the ad in section 5, and who processes it is Google.
Anyone we don’t know to be 18 or older is not served personalised ads, and that includes anyone using the app without an account, which is most people. It is set out in full in section 5.
If we learn of an account belonging to someone under 16, we remove it.
While the account exists, its data is kept.
You can delete it from the app itself, in Settings, and also without having it installed by writing to
stickerfit.contact@gmail.com. When you delete it:
Our provider hosts the service in la Unión Europea (Frankfurt, Alemania). The providers in section 7 may process data outside the European Economic Area; when that happens, they do so under the transfer mechanisms the Regulation provides, which are the ones those providers publish in their own terms.
You can ask us for access to your data, its rectification, its erasure, restriction of processing, portability of what you have given us, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where the basis is your consent, you can withdraw it whenever you want without affecting what was done before: the notification switch is exactly that.
Write to stickerfit.contact@gmail.com. We reply within the period the law sets, which is one month.
Much of this doesn’t need to be asked of us: the profile is edited from the app, notifications are turned off with a switch, what you published is taken down whenever you want and the account is deleted from Settings.
If you think we haven’t done it right, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or to the supervisory authority in your country.
The service runs over encrypted connections. Access to data is limited by rules applied on the server itself and not in the app, so they don’t depend on the phone behaving as we expect. We don’t look after any password of yours, because there isn’t one.
No service can promise nothing will go wrong. If a breach affecting your data occurs, we will report it to the supervisory authority and to you when the law requires it.
If it changes, it is published here with its date, and previous versions remain accessible. When the change is significant, notice is given inside the app.
